Though FastPass+ (and the larger MyMagic+ system) has had its share of critics since it began its test phase in mid-2013, this system has been an enormous success for Walt Disney World.

Hello Disney-Lovers!

Today I came across some not-so-Disneytastic news; both Disneyland and Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios are debating whether they should have the Annual Passholders be blocked out for two months due to the opening of Star Wars Land. The crowds are going to get insane, which means more of the moolah for Disney. As many of us AP Disney-Lovers know, we don’t have to pay for a new ticket when going to the Disney parks DUE to the Annual Passes. So, Disney doesn’t make that extra hundred to two-hundred bucks when entering the parks. What does that mean for the Annual Passholders? You guessed it! Annual Passholders would have to buy a regular Disney Ticket in order to enter Star Wars Land for those first two months. Lame, in my opinion.

Seven years is an eternity in the entertainment business, and that’s just how long it’s been since James Cameron’s Avatar arrived on the scene and did some rather boffo box office (as in biggest box office in movie history). But a lot has changed since then, movies come and go, and the public consciousness is fleeting. Still, Cameron is pressing on with four planned sequels, and now we have more news of Disney involvement. Pandora — The World of Avatar is opening next summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. No specific date has been announced yet.

Another host is set to depart “The View.”

Raven-Symoné is leaving the ABC daytime talkshow by year’s end to develop a spinoff of her comedy series “That’s So Raven” for Disney Channel, Variety has learned.

Symoné will relocate from New York City to Los Angeles for the spinoff, in which she’s set to star and serve as an executive producer. She will reprise her role as the psychic Raven Baxter, who was last seen as a teenager on the show that ran on Disney Channel from 2003 to 2007

Every true Disney fan knows the worst times to be in the Disney parks are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Yes, there are other times when the parks get over-crowded (for example, EVERY FREAKING DAY IN THE SUMMER) but it’s not as crazy and mind-numbing as the Holidays. And for those Disney fans that go ONLY for the Holidays, I would like to add that we non-Holiday crazed fans salute you and find you to be very brave.
